New Jersey State Flags
New Jersey's flag has an unusual buff color. This was the color used by New Jersey troops during the war of independence. The horse on the state shield stands for the state animal. The helmet shows that New Jersey stands alone and governs itself. Two goddesses are depicted on the flag. One is Liberty, the other Ceres, goddess of agriculture. Between them is a blue shield with three plows in homage to the state's nickname, "Garden State".
New Jersey state flags are made in America of durable 100% SolarMax nylon, the strongest and most fade-resistant nylon material available.
