Silk-like flags measure 4" x 6" and are securely attached to 10" black staffs topped with gilt spears. All four sides are sewn. Bright colors. They are perfect for everything from long term desk display to parade and celebration giveaways.
The Uganda flag was adopted on October 9, 1962. At its center is a white disc with a grey crowned crane, also known as the Balearic crested crane. Known for its gentle nature, the crane is a national symbol of Uganda. The colors on Uganda's flag are Pan African colors. Black represents the people of Uganda, yellow is symbolic of sunshine and red is meant to convey the blood that connects all its people.
