Nevada State Flags

Louis Shellback won $25 for his design of the flag during a contest in 1929.  The words "Battle Born" appear on Shellback's design because the state was admitted to the Union during the Civil War.  The large star in the seal stands for silver, the state's important metal.  The state flower is also seen in the seal.  Nevada is the Spanish word meaning snowlclad.

Nevada state flags are made in America of durable 100% SolarMax nylon, the strongest and most fade-resistant nylon material available.
